Home Massage allows people to touch in a positive, non-threatening, non-aggressive, non-sexual way.  Touch is an inherent desire and a most basic sensation in humans.  We have the instinct to touch and confirm what we see.  That we want to touch is evident from the fact that there are so many  “DO NOT TOUCH” signs in stores, museums and art galleries.

Dora and Keith Boyles

Dora Boyles, originally from San Antonio, Texas, has been a resident of the Charleston area for 32 years. She has lived in Goose Creek since 1985. Daily, for 30 years, she has faced either a typewriter and/or a computer screen while working for three different local companies. Recognizing the need to reduce stress in her life, and desiring to assist others in that endeavor, Dora attended the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in Charleston. She graduated in September 2001, after completing a 500-hour course of study including 65 hours of actual hands-on massage work and another 25 hours outside of class. Dora became nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork in October 2001 and received her South Carolina Massage/Bodywork Therapy License     (no. 2867) in November 2001

Keith Boyles, originally from Clemmons, North Carolina, has lived in the Charleston area since1976. Arriving courtesy of the U. S. Navy where he served as Personnelman First Class, he has resided in Goose Creek since 1988, when he and Dora were married. Keith worked for nearly 20 years as an Export Documentation Specialist for a local company. Conscious of the stress factors in his life and after being exposed to the knowledge and techniques Dora had learned, he also decided to learn massage therapy through the same course of study and hands-on hours at Southeastern School. Keith graduated in December 2001, became nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork in January 2002 and received his South Carolina Massage/Bodywork Therapy License (no. 2937) in February 2002.

Together, we opened Peaceful Serenity Massage Therapy in Goose Creek, in April 2002, knowing that massage therapy was the career we had been inevitably drawn toward. Our purpose is to provide quality therapeutic massage, at an affordable price, in an attempt to reduce stress and alleviate pain through various massage and neuromuscular techniques. We are committed to our clients’ well-being, respectful of their boundaries and always mindful of their massage and healthcare needs. With stress being a leading factor in many of today’s health problems, we hope to help others to become happier and healthier individuals through massage therapy.
